Page 1 of 1 The name Bovensiepen is by no means new to the automotive world. Today, it stands for a manufacturer of exceptional vehicles that embody the concept of fine driving.
The launch of the Bovensiepen brand at FuoriConcorso marks a new era for the company — a continuation of its decades-long engineering and design excellence, combined with the craftsmanship and taste of a family-run atelier like Zagato, which shares the same core values. The result is a debut model that perfectly merges German engineering with Italian design sensibility.
Gran Turismo is more than just a category — it’s a way of life. And it’s from this tradition that the first Bovensiepen model is born. The Bovensiepen Zagato combines Bavarian engineering with Italian design signed by Zagato, creating a contemporary GT that is both elegant and full of character.
“Our goal is to build cars for connoisseurs and enthusiasts who appreciate the perfect symbiosis of design and technology.” - Andreas Bovensiepen, CEO Bovensiepen Automobiles
More than just a fusion of design and technology, the new Bovensiepen Zagato is a tangible expression of collaboration between Engineering made in Bavaria and Design made in Milan.
The design bears the unmistakable Milanese signature: elegant proportions, a long bonnet, the iconic Double Bubble roof, sculpted volumes, and refined details such as the stainless steel front grille, fully retractable frameless windows, integrated rear spoiler, and aerodynamic air outlet.
“It’s a kind of blend of Italian charm, sensual and soft design, with a very solid, almost architectural German structure… a beautiful fusion of two automotive cultures.”- Norihiko Harada, Chief Designer Zagato
“The art of coachbuilding was born in Milan over 500 years ago. Atelier Zagato has been operating for 106 years in collaboration with the most prestigious automotive brands. Designing the first car for a newly born marque is a tradition we are proud to continue. This project with the Bovensiepen family is particularly special, as it continues the legacy of blending Zagato DNA with that of a new and inspiring brand, starting from its very first creation.” - Andrea Michele Zagato, President of Zagato
Underscoring the strong connection with Milanese coachbuilding tradition is the use of the patronymic badge, historically employed by Atelier Zagato since the 1920s to sign cars built in partnership with manufacturers such as Lancia, Alfa Romeo, Isotta Fraschini, and Rolls Royce.
Each Bovensiepen Zagato requires over 250 hours of labor and the assembly of more than 400 custom components, entrusted to skilled craftsmen. Page 1 of 1
