Chassis:
The 89th of 150 Valkyries built by Aston Martin, this example had been commissioned by none other than former Red Bull Racing Formula 1 driver Daniel Ricciardo. Accustomed to winning Grands Prix in Adrian Newey designed machinery, he had the car finished in Dichroic Dawn, or ‘Badger Blue’ in reference to the car’s original owner. The custom paint was a £30,000 option from Aston Martin’s bespoke ‘Q’ department. The interior featured Pure Black Alcantara upholstery. After the Valkyrie entered Ricciardo’s private collection, it was only used sparingly before it was consigned by the Australian to the 2025 Broad Arrows Auctions Zoute sale.
